National Honor Society Leadership Three of the five officer positions of the Hancock County
Chapter of the National Honor Society will be filled by students from McComb High School.
Andrew Dee will serve as President, Tyler Ferris, as Sergeant-At-Arms and Chelsey Parker, as
Secretary-Treasurer.
McComb Baseball at Fifth Third Field
The McComb Athletic Department is selling vouchers which are good for any regular season
Toledo Mud Hens game (except opening day and final regular season game). Vouchers are $10
each with a portion of the proceeds going to the athletic department. The McComb varsity baseball
team will play at Fifth Third Field on Friday, April 16th vs. Hopewell Loudon at 5:00 PM. Please
send your name, address, number of vouchers and a check payable to the McComb Athletic

McComb Athletic Booster Membership 2009-2010
Please consider joining the McComb Athletic Boosters to support boys and girls sports at
McComb. Your membership helps all the sports’ programs (Junior High through High School) with
athletic equipment, uniforms, weight training and other athletic department expenses.
Memberships are only $20, your name is printed in the sports programs and you are eligible for the
monthly drawing for a chance at $50 (2 winners monthly). Drawings are held at the monthly
meetings and a check will be sent to the winners.

Get Fit
The McComb School has a fitness center that is open for the public. The membership fee is only $10.00 per
month or $50.00 for six months. The facility is available during certain times. For more information or to
schedule a visit, call the superintendent's office at 419-293-3979.
Box Tops for Education
McComb Elementary School continues to collect Box Tops for Education Found on many grocery store
items. The school receives 10 cents for each Box Top and uses the money to fund many events that
benefit the elementary students and teachers, such as Student Awards assemblies each nine weeks.
Please send your box tops to the school or place them in the collection boxes in the elementary and high
school offices or at the McComb Public Library. For more information, or a list of eligible items, check the

2010 Graduation Ceremony
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 29, 2010 in the high school gymnasium. Senior
Recognition will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. in the gym.
