Council News
                                 September 22, 2014
The council has hired Utility Service Group, from Atlanta, to
prepare plans for improvements at the water treatment facility.  The
work is mandated by the Ohio EPA.  The council will consider
whether current water rates will have to be increased in order to
fund the work.  Also, the wastewater plant needs to replace some
equipment that is estimated to cost $17,000.

Steel has begun to arrive for the new water tower downtown, which
should begin erection in November.

Trick-or-Treat will be held on Thursday, October 30, from 6:00 pm
to 7:00 pm, with a parade to follow at 7:30 pm.  The date was
chosen so as not to conflict with school events.

Next year's Cookie Fest will be from July 31 to August 2.
